I wanted to reach out and provide some information related to the expected inclement weather from hurricane Idalia.

At this point, it is the expectation that classes will go ahead as usual tomorrow and Friday.
Be sure to be checking email regular for university communication regarding potential closures or delays.

If the University is open, then we will continue with regularly scheduled classes.

You can review the University Inclement Weather Policy and find updates at this link:
https://www.campbell.edu/policies/weather-policy/#:~:text=Because%20a%20substantial%20number%20of,those%20situations%20as%20they%20develop.

We are aware that each of you are coming from different surrounding areas and there could be variation in your ability to safely get to class depending on wind, power outages, etc. As a result, it is the expectation that each of you will use your best judgement based on your own individual situation when deciding if coming to campus is the right decision for you. If you are not able to make it to campus, email the instructor and complete an absence submission as usual and indicate the reason for the absence. You are responsible for the material from the class and/or lab that you missed and any in class or out of class assignments associated with the material.

If the University is Closed:It is not a day off. Sorry☹
DPT 1
Lecture for 712 will occur via recorded Panopto lectures and you will be responsible for that material. They will be in the Blackboard folder for this week.

For DPT 756, Dr. Leineke will reach out to you with class requirements.

DPT 2:
On Blackboard, I will indicate the requirements for the lecture. It is likely that if this happens, I’ll add additional lecture material from future lectures and double up on lab time in the future. We have a lot of hands on things we need time to physically practice that would be hard to accomplish remotely. I’ll make that decision when I have to😊

*** if we do have class tomorrow, most of the neurowellness folks have opted out and requested a “day off”. Some die-hards want to come in if we are here- they will confirm that tomorrow (so they may change their mind). 2 of them asked about Tele-health (great option to play with) if they couldn’t come in. So, we will be adaptable and flexible with our schedule tomorrow as needed.

Reach out with any questions you may have.
Thank you and be safe!
Dr. Green
