> While I have your attention I’d like to share a little bit about the APTA Association Leadership Scholars Program which is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring leaders. This program was established during APTA’s 2021 centennial year as a means to build future association leaders both nationally and locally. This is a 1-year long commitment spanning from January 2023 to December 2023. Spots are limited as only 25 scholars will be accepted into the program. Throughout the year scholars will engage in group projects and engagement activities while following a robust curriculum that covers association leadership and management topics.
>
> The link to apply can be found here <https://www.apta.org/your-career/career-advancement/leadership-development/apta-association-leadership-scholars-program>! The application deadline is November 15th, 2022. To be eligible you must be a current PT, PTA, or student member of APTA.
>
> We would love to have representation in this program from North Carolina, so we encourage those that are interested to apply!
>
> Finally, I’d like to share with you the application for Outstanding PT Student and PTA Student Awards <https://www.apta.org/apta-and-you/honors-awards/outstanding-student?utm_source=Informz&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=2022-10-CAupdate&_zs=xXn6d1&_zl=K2df8>.
