Class of 2024

As you may be aware, a significant number of DPT 2 students have tested positive for Covid. The majority began showing symptoms Saturday and tested positive Saturday or Sunday. I am sharing this information with you with hope of increasing your vigilance. If you have any signs or symptoms of Covid, please get a test ASAP and do not attend in person classes unless you have received a negative test result and your symptoms have improved.

Some individuals have had symptoms and negative tests for 1-3 days before a test resulted in a positive finding. As such, if you are having any symptoms, even with a negative Covid test, please consider wearing a mask indoors.

In the event of a positive test please complete the Campbell Covid self-report form https://www.campbell.edu/coronavirus/campus-health/protocol-for-covid-exposure/ to allow for contact tracing to occur if needed. You are not required to notify me of a positive test although alerting me of your positive is helpful in determining the spread or impact of any potential cluster.

Have a great week
Dr. Myers
