Hello,
I am reaching out to you to pass along some information about our need for physical therapists here in the Northeast part of the state. I wanted to see if you would mind passing this information along to your graduates. We are currently in need of 4 PTs minimum. I need one for our Currituck location, 2 for our YMCA location and one for our Tanglewood location. The plan is to open a new sports/ortho clinic that our region desperately needs, but we need more PTs to do so.

Here's what Sentara is offering:

$30,000 sign on bonus ($15k per year for two year commitment to work with us)
Sentara is paying back $10,000 in student loans OR paying $5250 for continuing education and certifications
$2500 for relocation costs
Excellent pay and benefits-summary attached.
The starting salary is in the $80K range

We would also love to have your students come and do internships with us. We are a smaller division within a very large hospital system-but this allows us to offer students a diverse rotation that can include adult and pediatric outpatient settings. We often have students float over into inpatient for observations if they have not had an inpatient rotation. I do believe our biggest obstacle is housing. I have reached out to AHEC but the current housing is reserved for ECU dental students. I'd be willing to explore more options if you thought students would be interested in coming to this area for internships. We are often successful in hiring our interns but have to get them here first!
