My name is Samuel Park, and I serve as the Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Clinical Coordinator at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI.

I'm reaching out to share an exciting opportunity: we currently have an unexpected opening in our accredited Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency Program. Our previously accepted resident had to withdraw due to unforeseen life circumstances, and we are actively seeking a highly qualified candidate to join our 2025 cohort.

Our program offers a robust and unique experience, including:

  * No tuition, full-time paid employment with benefits
  * Weekly one-on-one mentorship with expert clinicians, including four Orthopedic Clinical Specialists
  * Paid MedBridge account with specialty prep course access
  * Extensive didactic support, including in-house case studies, research article libraries, and 10 OCS practice tests
  * Specialty training opportunities (Dry Needling, TMD specialization, hand/wrist orthosis fabrication, BFR observation)
  * Teaching opportunities through the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, including lab assisting and guest lecturing
  * Access to cadaver labs and scholarly activities

We are particularly interested in reaching students who:

  * Applied to residencies but did not secure a spot
  * Are seeking additional preparation before entering the job market
  * Are passionate about advancing their expertise in orthopaedic physical therapy

Our application window has been extended beyond what is currently listed on our website and is reflected on RF-PTCAS.

If you know of any students or recent graduates who might be a great fit, please feel free to share this opportunity with them. I am also happy to personally speak with any interested students to answer questions and share more about what makes our residency a strong stepping stone for their career.

More information about the residency and the application link can be found here: https://www.va.gov/milwaukee-health-care/work-with-us/internships-and-fellowships/physical-therapy-orthopaedic-residency-program/

Thank you for your time and help in spreading the word!

Best regards,

Samuel Park, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS, CMTPT
