Manchester United have confirmed that top scorer Marcus Rashford will miss
Thursday's Europa League quarter-final first leg against Sevilla due to a
muscle injury sustained during their 2-0 win against Everton on Saturday.

England international Harry Kane has been in spectacular form for United
this season, scoring 28 goals from 47 games across all competitions. With
Erik ten Hag's side still striving for a top four finish and competing for
FA Cup and Europa League honours, his absence would be an enormous blow.

Manchester United's top scorer Marcus Rashford will miss Thursday's Europa
League quarter-final first leg against Sevilla due to a muscle injury. This

Man United can still put on a show without the forward, though. Even
without him, Man United should still be able to put together an impressive
performance against Sevilla who are struggling this season with form. They
currently sit 13th in La Liga table and recently appointed Jose Luis
Mendilibar as their manager.

They've lost 11 of their 11 European away games this season and only
managed one win in their last four matches, so the chances for them to gain
any advantage from this match appear slim.

Erik ten Hag's side have the opportunity to make a major step towards
winning a treble this season, including the League Cup and UEFA Europa
League. They sit three points clear of Tottenham in the Premier League
standings with one game left, and they look set for an advantageous trip to
Nottingham Forest for their next top flight matchup.

FA Cup semi-final against Brighton

Manchester United have confirmed that England international Marcus Rashford
will miss Thursday's Europa League quarter-final first leg against Sevilla
due to a muscle injury. The club stated the 25-year-old will "miss a few
games," but should return before the end of the season.

Erik ten Hag's side have been on fire this season, scoring 28 goals across
all competitions. However, their hopes for silverware on three fronts will
be severely tested without him; they hope he can return before United
travel to Brighton for a Premier League game next month.

However, United's fixture schedule for the final month has already become
hectic, and it could be that their Brighton match will be moved to a
midweek week in April should they reach the Europa League quarter-finals.

On 22 and 23 April at Wembley, the FA Cup semi-finals will take place. Both
matches begin at midday and will be played to a conclusion.
Premier League game against Nottingham Forest

Marcus Rashford will miss Manchester United's next few games due to a
muscle injury sustained during their 2-0 victory against Everton on
Saturday. United have now confirmed that Rashford will be out for "a few
games", but is expected back before the season's end.

United manager Erik ten Hag was disappointed that Rashford was injured, but
believes more must be done to safeguard players. With an intense fixture
schedule coming up in April, Rashford has already missed two games due to
this injury.

Rashford may be absent, but United still have plenty to play for this
season with the team currently in the quarter-finals of both the Europa
League and FA Cup semi-final. Furthermore, United could qualify for next
year's UEFA Champions League tournament.

United have won four out of their last five matches in the Premier League
and look to maintain that streak against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
Forest has also won four out of their six away matches this season in the
top-flight, and will look to extend that streak into December with a home
game against Wolves on New Year's Eve.
Europa League game against Sevilla

Manchester United have confirmed that top scorer Marcus Rashford will miss
Thursday's Europa League quarter-final first leg against Sevilla due to a
muscle injury. The 25-year-old has been in superb form for United this
season, scoring 28 goals and providing 10 assists.

Erik ten Hag's side have relied heavily on him since the return of action
from the World Cup. On Saturday night, he provided an assist for Anthony
Martial in their 2-0 Premier League win against Everton before leaving
through injury.

The Europa League is a second-tier competition for European clubs, below
the UEFA Champions League. Teams qualify for this tournament based on their
performances in their national leagues and cup competitions.

In June and July, qualifying rounds are played followed by a playoff round
in August. The top two teams from each group advance to the Group Stage
where they play round-robin matches. The winners then proceed to the
Knockout Phase where they compete in four two-legged knockout matches.
