Philippe Clement has praised his team's progress since taking charge at
Ibrox last month. Clement previously led Genk and Club Brugge before
joining Rangers last month.

Grenville Allen played an instrumental role in creating Mount Rainier's
ranger force. He stressed professionalism, teamwork and decentralized
authority.

Goalkeeper Henrik Lundqvist

After New York allowed six goals against Tampa Bay's high-octane offense in
Game 2, some speculated whether Cam Talbot should start Game 4. Instead,
Henrik Lundqvist rose to meet this challenge head on and won his fourth
consecutive start with ease.

Lundqvist, known by New York media and fans alike as "The King", leads all
Rangers all-time wins: regular season (459), playoff wins (61) shutouts
(64) and games played (887). Additionally, he has twice won the Vezina
Trophy and been a Vezina finalist on multiple occasions.

Henrik has had many career highlights during his 41-year-old tenure, such
as winning 10 consecutive home playoff games at Madison Square Garden when
the Rangers were facing elimination at MSG, setting an amazing record that
still stands to this day. Additionally, Henrik holds NHL records for most
wins, shutouts and games played by non-North American goalies; being
honored with being inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame this past April
along with teammates Martin Brodeur, Patrick Roy, Terry Sawchuk Jacques
Plante Ed Belfour Tony Esposito Glenn Hall & Roberto Luongo among them!

Winger Ryan Jack

Jack has made an excellent start to his Rangers career and is becoming
adept at taking the role of box-to-box midfielder. His energy and work rate
ensure his engine keeps churning for 90 minutes at a time while providing
defensive coverage when necessary.

After leaving Pittodrie in 2017, this Aberdeen-born winger immediately took
advantage of joining Rangers as a fan. Under Steven Gerrard he has
flourished remarkably, culminating in his starting place against Sparta
Prague in the Europa League group stage last week.

He was brilliant for Ibrox in that match as they pressed high and created
numerous chances through rapid forward play. They will look to replicate
that performance against Aris Limassol later this month before travelling
to Real Betis in December; any success there would mark a tremendous
achievement and potentially secure top two placement in their group before
reaching the latter stages of competition.

Defender Danilo

Danilo arrived at Rangers in 2023/24 and has quickly established himself as
an important set piece performer. After calming a chaotic corner scrum with
an intelligent finish from one corner he managed to score his maiden goal
for 2023 - his first of 2023! Additionally he can link defense and midfield
with powerful diagonal switch of play for easy transition between play.

He earned three clearances against Bologna while winning four duels and two
tackles and recording three clearances, in addition to taking a shot (off
target), one chance created, and two interceptions. On Sunday Juventus will
face Lazio.

Suffered some vulnerabilities prior to Prague's goal but made several good
recovery tackles. He appears to be getting back up to full fitness
following a collision with St Johnstone's Liam Gordon that required medical
assistance on the pitch; when Presnel Kimpembe returns he could return as
centre-back.

Forward Sam Lammers

Clement will face a difficult challenge in restructuring this Rangers
squad. He must decide whether to retain those players given chances under
Michael Beale but did not thrive, or make additions as needed.

On Thursday, Rangers face Sparta Prague in an important Europa League tie
and their Belgian manager's desire for his team to perform well will
undoubtedly play a part in any decisions he makes regarding transfer window
transfers. He may recall how their poor run in Europe led directly to him
leaving Monaco last June.

Easter Road Club were second fiddle in their Group C match against Czech
Republic hosts in the first half. But following halftime they showed signs
of improvement with Lammers showing his ability to penetrate five-man
defences with ease.
