To piggyback on Dr. Green's email (or ride her coattails is probably a more accurate description)...Here's an awesome podcast about the new APTA Centennial Center.

For those of you who don't know, I'm a huge fan of the PT Pintcast, hosted by Jimmy McKay. In short, he's a radio DJ turned PT who basically combined the two professions. He interviews all kinds of people in the profession...at happy hour. Interviews includes a wide range of topics from research to clinical insight to new ideas to motivational stories.

Enjoy and Happy Founder's Day!

Subject: APTA Founder's Day Celebration!

Celebrating the APTA Centennial

On this day, 100 years ago, a group of women, including Mary McMillan, met to establish what we now call the American Physical Therapy Association on Jan. 15, 1921.
This morning, the APTA opened a new headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia to mark the occasion.
Tonight, The APTA's Founder's Day Celebration streams online for free starting at 8pm. There will be live interviews and recorded tributes from across the country.

Go to this website to stream at 8pm!
