Hello everyone!

The MSK SIG recently interviewed Dr. Andrew Yost who graduated from the
Houston Methodist Orthopedics Residency and currently works as a PT in
Houston, Texas. Dr. Yost Graduated from Campbell University’s DPT program
in 2018. He provided a unique perspective of residences from someone who
was once in our current shoes. We were thankful to ask many questions
regarding his experience going through his orthopedic residency program. It
was also nice to get a different perspective about his personal experiences
and why he chose his Houston Methodist Orthopedics Residency over
other options. He also provided tips and tricks on gaining a
competitive edge when applying for residencies and gave great rationale for
why a DPT graduate should complete a residency in relation to clinical
competence.

For those who are interested in getting more information about residencies, *we
have recorded this interview and tried to make it similar to a podcast*. I
am *attaching both the video and the audio file via google drive links* to
this email so feel free to listen at your leisure:
