[PT2021] Electrophysiology Special Interest Group

Hi Everyone,
The long-awaited Special Interest Group (SIG) for nerve conduction and electromyography is coming!!

I know some of you have asked about having this SIG to learn more about the process of electrodiagnostics. Within the next few days, the EMG SIG organization will be constructed and placed on Blackboard (IT has been engaged to get this set up). This will be where information for the SIG can be found.

The SIG will be informational at first. The Electrophysiology Clinical Specialty is recognized by the APTA and is a unique addition to the profession with only approximately 150-160 practicing physical therapists that have earned this specialty certification. I am excited to have this opportunity to share my expertise as a recognized clinical specialist in this area with all of you!!

At this time, you are welcome to send me an email if you are interested. Within the next 3-4 weeks, I expect to be able to set up a meeting in the evening for a brief introduction to the SIG. Please feel free to ask me questions and I look forward to working with those of you that are interested.
