[PT2021] Good Example

Hi everyone,

I JUST realized I sent this to all classes. So for the first and third years who have no idea what I am talking about, for DPT 732, we hosted a virtual panel of PTs who work in specialty practice areas. All of these people are colleagues and friends of mine and were more than happy to speak to students, whether you participated in the panel as a second year or are in another class. So feel free to reach out with questions.

My only request is that you identify yourself as a Campbell student and are also respectful of their time by providing options to answer questions via phone, video conference, or over email so they can choose what works best for their schedule.

Have a great weekend!

Thanks for passing along, Dr. Green! Very cool!

I have attached the list of PTs who were on our panel this summer and their email addresses since you all no longer have access to it on Blackboard. They were all more than willing to chat, so feel free to reach out to them with questions related to projects or just for their perspective on their PT journey.

Have a great day, everyone!

Subject: Good Example

One of my soapboxes is that it will be beneficial to you to see opportunities in the profession, not wait for the profession to fulfill you. I like to provide examples of this when able .
Dr. Eubanks offered a whole bunch this summer with that panel she had of really cool therapists making it in unique ways.

I saw this today, and thought it was a good example. I just came across it. The PTA is actually a PTA I worked with at Cape Fear. She added her PTA background with a state certification and poof- new job perspectives. Neat!
