I wanted to share this opportunity with you all again. Thank you to those who donated in anyway. I am excited to say that we are able to pack full meals for all of our 50 families who will be coming through the drive-thru Christmas store next week, but we are still short 144 gifts to make sure that each child receives three presents. If you feel led to purchase a gift through the Amazon store listed below or give by donation so that we can purchase the remaining gifts, we would be very grateful to you.

The purpose of the Community Christmas Store is to provide gifts to the children of families who do not have the resources to do so. We have worked closely with our community partners (churches, schools, etc.) for the past 10 years to identify families who need a little extra help for Christmas.  This year's Community Christmas Store will look very different due to COVID-19. We will be holding a drive-thru store for the families to pick up their gifts on November 18th - 20th.

What can Campbell University students and faculty/staff do to support the Christmas Store?


  1.  Purchase Gifts: This year, we have created an Amazon store that includes pre-chosen gifts according to what the families provided as ideas for their kids. You may purchase as few or as many gifts as you would like. Each child will receive 3 gifts from the store. The store furnishes gifts to children 0-14 years of age.

  2.  Make a Donation: In years past, we have been able to have our student groups and faculty/staff hold fundraisers around campus to raise money for the Christmas store. Due to COVID-19, we were not able to do this.   3.  Volunteer: Even though we will not have an open store, we will still need volunteers to help with gift wrapping.  More information about gift wrapping opportunities will be coming soon.
  4.  Donate Food: Boxes have been placed around campus and are labeled with items that are needed. Boxes are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of Taylor Hall, 1st floor of the Fine Arts Building, 1st and 2nd floor of the Admissions Building, and in the lobby of the Convocation Center. Food items needed are:
Green Beans                      Cornbread Mix
Corn                                      Brown Sugar
Yams                                     Marshmallows
Cranberry Sauce               Mashed or Au Grain potatoes
Macaroni & Cheese        Cake Mix & Frosting
Stuffing Mix
