[PT2021] Volunteers needed for Fall screening event

Good morning,
I am excited to announce my participation again in the 3rd annual  Ready, Steady, Balance Expo sponsored by Durham Center for Senior Life & Duke Trauma Center. Due to the COVID-19 shelter in place recommendations for older adults, the Fall Risk Screening portion of the event will be held in a virtual format on Thursday, September 24th from 11 am-1 pm. This will entail screening older adults using the STEADI recommendations (Lecture content August 25th 😊).
We need student volunteers to screen older adults for fall risk using Zoom.  The DCSL Facebook live events had close 100 participants, however, we are uncertain how many will sign up for fall risk screenings over Zoom. If you are willing and able to assist, please email me as soon as possible so that the event planners can move forward with the screening portion of the event.  Thank you in advance!
