[PT2021] Background and Drug Screen (Certiphi) Information

Good morning All,

Here is some additional information regarding the Background and Drug Screen:

Some students had questions regarding how to make payment for your background and drug screen.  Once you complete the online application or pull your account up there will be instructions through the Application Station.

Important Information
Make sure you log on to Application Station before completing your drug screen or this will cause a delay when receiving your drug screen results.  Do not drink coffee or too many fluids prior to your lab visit. If your results are a negative dilute, the facility will require a second drug screen to be completed which will require another payment from you. Should a negative dilute occur, please contact me as soon as possible.  Upload into Magnus when complete.

Good afternoon Class of 2021,

It is time for you to complete your annual drug screen and criminal background check for your upcoming clinicals to be completed by November 11, 2019.  You will receive 2 emails with more detailed instructions from Application Station/Certiphi.  Please ensure that you pay for both the drug screen and background check by following the instructions from Certiphi.  Two options to complete the drug screen are listed below.

COMPLETING DRUG SCREEN AT LABCORP
If you choose to complete your 14-panel drug screen off campus at a LabCorp facility please complete by November 11, 2019 and follow instructions on your email.  You may want to call ahead to make sure the LabCorp you are going to does this type of testing as some do not.

COMPLETING DRUG SCREEN AT CAMPBELL'S STUDENT HEALTH CENTER
If you choose to complete your Drug Screen at the Student Health Center on Campus please stop by my desk to pick up a Chain of Custody Form.  The health office has designated blocks of times you can complete the drug screening.  Stop by on either Tuesday, October 29 3-4:30 pm or Thursday, October 31 from 8:30-9:30 am to complete this screening.
