Dear Physical Therapy Educator,
My name is Joe Fangman, and I am a member of the Academy of Spinal Cord Injury Professionals (ASCIP).  As an active member, I am also the chair of the membership committee.  Our mission is to provide a network for professionals across all disciplines to share expertise and knowledge in order to be cutting edge for the clients we serve. We would like to extend a wonderful opportunity to students that are considering entering the field of spinal cord injury/neurological rehabilitation.  ASCIP offers free membership to students their first year, then $50.00/year until they graduate.  This membership offers the networking as stated above along with the Journal of Spinal Cord Medicine, webinars and pertinent current research in the field.  It also provides them an opportunity to seek mentors in their field through the Early Career and Students program.
Students can also attend the ASCIP 2019 Educational Conference & Expo, September 1-4 in Nashville, TN for only $120. This is a great way for them to network and learn from experts in the field of spinal cord injury rehabilitation.
