hey guys i asked newton a question about lecture 4 and what we need to take
away from it, because its a lot of purple stained pictures, and he said
this:
hope it helps :) super basic!
- Know that the tracts pass through all brain stem levels.
- Know the DC/ML & STT are sensory, and the CST is somatic motor.
- Know in general where the cranial n. nuclei are located. (simplistic
drawing)
- Know the *basic* functions of the cranial nn.
- Knowing which aa. supply what areas of the CNS is important.
- Know the distribution of the vasculature to the cerebral cortex.
- As for the brain stem, just know the names of the aa. which supply
each area - no need to know the internal distribution of the brainstem,
aa.
