St. John's University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is excited to announce our postdoctoral pharmaceutical industry fellowship webinar series during the month of October 2022.

In addition, we will be recruiting for fellowships beginning July 2023 with our industry partners listed below:


  *   American Regent, Inc. - recruiting for one position in Medical Affairs
  *   Pfizer, Inc. - recruiting for one position in Oncology Global Market Access and Health Economics and Outcomes Research
  *   Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie Company - recruiting for one position in Clinical Development
  *   TENTATIVE: PTC Therapeutics - recruiting for one position in Global Regulatory Affairs
  *   TENTATIVE: Myovant Sciences - recruiting for three positions:

     *   One position in Early Clinical Development
     *   One position in Commercial Regulatory Affairs
     *   One position in Clinical Regulatory Affairs

The first webinar will be our 2022 Virtual Pharmaceutical Industry Informational Session that will be held on Monday October 3rd, from 8:00pm until 9:30pm EDT. During this exciting kickoff event our program leaders, along with our first- and second-year fellows from our four industry partners; American Regent, Pfizer, Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie Company, and Relmada Therapeutics will provide an overview of Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowships and how to prepare for the application process. The following topics will be discussed:

  *   What is a fellowship?
  *   Why choose a fellowship?
  *   What are the responsibilities of a fellow?
  *   An overview of various functional areas within a pharmaceutical company.
  *   Basic interview, virtual interview, and CV preparation recommendations.
The general programming will end with our fellows answering questions posed by interested candidates.

Our second webinar will be in collaboration with Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie Company, and will provide information for candidates interested in the St. John's University/Allergan Aesthetics Postdoctoral Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowship in Clinical Development.

Allergan Aesthetics will hold sessions on 2 dates:
The first session will be held Thursday October 6th, from 8:00pm until 9:00pm EDT.
The second session will be held Tuesday October 11th, from 8:15pm until 9:15pm EDT.

We will be recruiting one fellow for the 2023-2025 cycle. This fellowship is a two-year experience and is set to begin on or about July 1st, 2023.

During this exciting event St. John's University and Allergan Aesthetics program leaders, in addition to our current fellow, will discuss the various components of the fellowship, the application process, and what a candidate would expect if they were selected to be the next St. John's University/Allergan Aesthetics fellow. The programming will end with the panel answering questions posed by interested candidates.
