[Pharm27] 12/20 PSEB Service Opportunity – UGRR Toy Drive

Hello future pharmacists,

As your Pharmacy Student Executive Board (PSEB) Service Chair, I’m excited
to share an exciting volunteer opportunity with *The Underground Railroad
(UGRR)* in Lillington. On *Saturday, December 20th*, we’ll be supporting
Mama Moses’ Annual Toy Drive. This year, Mama Moses is excited to host the
event at Harnett Central High School! This larger venue was chosen to
accommodate the anticipated incredible turnout and volume of items. Last
year, thousands of community members joined us, and we’re preparing for an
even greater impact this time around.

Campbell Pharmacy is proud to partner with the Underground Railroad this
year to offer free health screenings for our local community. Services will
include blood pressure checks, blood glucose monitoring, and
over-the-counter counseling, depending on volunteer turnout.

Pharmacy student volunteers are needed from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on December
20, 2025. Participation will count toward *spring *semester service hours
and eligibility for the PLS award program.
