[Pharm27] Maddox Games THIS WEEK!

Hello Student Pharmacists,

For the upcoming Maddox Games on April 4th, from 12:00 - 3:00 PM, I am
excited to announce the specific details about the upcoming event.


This event will host a variety of games to work together and compete with
your fellow pharmacy classmates and faculty outside of the classroom.
Different activities and events will grant your respective pharmacy class
(P1, P2, P3, P4/Faculty) “Maddox Games Points” (MGPs) where the pharmacy
class with the greatest number of MGPs at the conclusion of the event will
receive a free pizza party that will be sponsored by PSEB.

Prizes for the winning Pharmacy Class:

   A free pizza party!


Maddox Games Timeline:

March 31st - April 4th: Spirit Week

   -

   For each day of spirit week, the pharmacy class (P1, P2, P3, P4/Faculty)
   with the largest proportion of students that participate will receive 1 MGP.
   -

      March 31st: Mathlete vs. Athlete Monday
      -

      April 1st: Twin & Triplet Tuesday
      -

      April 2nd: Wacky Orange Wednesday
      -

      April 3rd: Country vs. Country Club Thursday
      -

      April 4th: Face-Off Friday- Wear your Maddox Games Shirt!

March 31st - April 4th: Service Week

   -

   In partnership with SNPhA, we will also be collecting items to send to
   Ghana! We are collecting hygiene products, medical supplies, and toys,
   with a special focus on hygiene items, as they are in the greatest
   demand. Please be mindful of any differences with extra credit being
   offered for this event.
   -

      1st place (most items collected): 4 MGPs
      -

      2nd place: 3 MGPs
      -

      3rd place: 2 MGPs
      -

      4th place: 1 MGP


April 4th: The Maddox Games

   -

   12:00 - 1:00 PM: Lunch
   -

      Lunch will be catered by Aviator’s Smokehouse! We want to send a
      special thank you to CVS for sponsoring the lunch for this year’s Maddox
      Games!
      -

   1:15 - 3:00 PM: Maddox Games
   -

      The games will consist of a variety of games needing skill, luck, and
      teamwork! Events include a 3-legged race, Egg Toss, 50-yard dash, Egg &
      Spoon Race, Hoola Hoop contest, Sack Race, Clothes Relay, Balloon Pop
      Relay, Cup Stack Race, and Tug of War!

      Please sign up for one event to give everyone a chance to
      participate. After March 26th, you may sign up for as many events as
      you would like.

      If none of these games suit your fancy, we will also have spike ball,
      corn hole, giant Jenga, giant Connect 4, and more games to play!


PSEB wants to thank CVS for their contribution to this year’s Maddox Games!
Several CVS employees will be in attendance at this event. Please take this
opportunity to network with them, as well as thank them for their support!
