<p><span style="font-family: Arial, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; color: rgb(33, 33, 33);">The Alpha Zeta Chapter of Phi Lambda Sigma (PLS) is continuing the award program, Pharmacy Service Leaders, for students who complete an outstanding number of service hours
during the semester. Students who <b>complete either 30, 50, or 100 service hours</b> for the academic school year will be
<i><u>awarded a bronze, silver, or gold lapel pin</u></i> to wear on their white coats. The student that records
<b>the most service hours in their class</b>, will be <i><u>awarded the Service Leader certificate</u></i> to distinguish themselves amongst their peers. This award is an honor that can be listed on your CV. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Arial, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; color: rgb(33, 33, 33);">Please use the service hour sheet attached below to record your service hours for the year. We will be accepting hours from
<b>August 12, 2025 through April 1, 2026</b>. Please have your hours turned in by April 1, 2026. Students who obtain the specified number of hours will receive their pins by the end of April 2026. If you have questions about what counts as a service hour

<b><u>may not receive payment</u> </b>for the hours you obtain. If you are paid, then the hours do not count towards this program. This is an honor system, as leaders in pharmacy your honesty, integrity, and character are always on display. Phi Lambda Sigma
is excited to initiate this program to highlight the service that is always being done.</span></p>
