Hello P4s,
Dr. Mills has approved your participation in our upcoming Camels Care CommUNITY Days on September 12th and 13th if you are not on rotation at that time OR if your preceptor approves your participation & absence from rotation. I have opened up volunteer slots specifically for you all on Friday, September 12th as part of our Healthy Athletes event taking place at Smith Hall with Special Olympics of NC. Volunteer buddies will be paired with Special Olympics athletes to serve as a companion/guide throughout the Healthy Athletes stations at Smith Hall. Additionally, slots designated only for P4 students have been added on September 13th at the Coharie PowWow Tribal Health Fair. We will have stations for glucose, BP, lipids, and flu vaccine administration.
