[Phar25] Big Bats Softball Tournament

Hello everyone,


Kappa Psi will be hosting a community service softball tournament on Wednesday,
April 19th from 5pm - 7pm at the Intramural Fields. This event is in honor
of Sgt. Michael Hutchens, a police officer from the greater Winston-Salem
area, who died in the line of duty. His daughter, Leah Mitchell, is a
brother of Kappa Psi and attended pharmacy school at Campbell University as
well. A scholarship fund was created in their honor. Each year, we
contribute financially to the Sgt. Mickey Hutchens memorial scholarship
foundation, which is a scholarship that recognizes two graduating high
school seniors from the Winston-Salem area. All proceeds from this event
will go towards this scholarship.


This event can count towards one hour of Community Service for those that
sign up to attend/purchase a T-shirt. The touchnet link is provided in the

link will be open until Friday, March 24.
