[Phar25] APhA Operation Reproductive Health Guest Speaker

Happy Monday everyone!

APhA Operation Reproductive Health will be hosting a guest speaker event on
Thursday, January 26th virtually from 1-2pm featuring Avis Wright.

Ms. Avis Wright has had an extensive career path working in the health
service industry. As a Health Educator Coordinator, she provides sexual
education to adolescents and adults. She also serves as a Nutritionist
delegating her services to vulnerable populations. Currently, Ms. Wright is
a Health Services Capacity Building Coordinator and Professional Learning
Manager at Fact Forward. Fact Forward is a nonprofit organization with a
mission to improve the health and economic wellbeing of communities in
South Carolina. They aim to advance adolescent reproductive health through
the utilization of evidenced-based reproductive health education on topics
such as the importance of the HPV vaccination, sex education, and
prevention of teen pregnancy, HIV, and STIs.

She will be speaking about prevalent reproductive health topics that she is
passionate about and has witnessed during her career.
