Greetings CPHS family!

Dedication to Representation (D2R) is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month
from September 15th to October 15th. Check out information about this
below😊:

*What is Hispanic Heritage month?*

   -

   September 15th is an important day for the Hispanic community. On this
   day Latin American countries like Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala,
   Honduras, and Nicaragua celebrate their independence. Other countries
   celebrate their independence on September 16th such as Mexico and Chile.
   Another important holiday for the Hispanic community is Día de la Raza
   which is celebrated on October 12th. One of the purposes of Hispanic
   Heritage month is to highlight the contributions and successes of Hispanic
   Americans.

*When is it celebrated?*

    From September 15th to October 15th

*When was it established?*

   -

   On August 17th, 1988 Hispanic heritage month was established.

*Are there any ways to celebrate nationally?*

   -

   Watching the Homegrown concert “Cambalache” on September 29th

   On October 1st there is a Hispanic Heritage Celebration of Community and
