Hello everyone,

If you are interested in attending ASHP Midyear this December, please read
the following email carefully.

Midyear registration is now open, with early bird registration ending
October 14. After assessing the PSEB budget and discussing with other
organizational leaders, we have developed a modified plan for this year to
allow the opportunity for PSEB reimbursement for travel and accommodations
for students wanting to attend. Since Midyear will be in person this year,
registration coverage will not be guaranteed at this time. We encourage
everyone to take advantage of the early bird registration
<https://midyear.ashp.org/register?utm_term=ashp%20midyear&utm_campaign=MCM22-1-00-4810-60200&utm_source=adwords&utm_medium=ppc&hsa_acc=3985934627&hsa_cam=17921927180&hsa_grp=146404193744&hsa_ad=614000088396&hsa_src=g&hsa_tgt=kwd-380556799418&hsa_kw=ashp%20midyear&hsa_mt=p&hsa_net=adwords&hsa_ver=3&gclid=CjwKCAjwsMGYBhAEEiwAGUXJaZCfjhZqtCdVRklnVByP-edCwTU-niUDalxCEmICmXDDJn716UIkIBoCLEsQAvD_BwE&loginreturnUrl=SSOCheckOnly>
fee for ASHP members that ends on October 14.

Since PSEB funds are limited, a percentage of travel and reimbursement will
be requested for everyone wanting to attend Midyear through the SSHP
organization ONLY. To simplify this for everyone involved, we want everyone
to go through SSHP versus making individual requests. It is not guaranteed
the 60% travel and accommodations will be applied - this will depend on
PSEB’s approval based on the number of those attending and available funds.
The request will be brought up at the next PSEB meeting, held on September
21st by myself and our treasurer and we will advocate for the best outcome
we can get for you all.

Because of this quick turn around, we need everyone interested in attending
Midyear to read the instructions below for your year in school and
fill out this
google form <https://forms.gle/hQY7KQkD6nNzqXKq9> by September 13th.

P4s:

P4 students wanting to attend MUST be an ASHP National Membe
<https://www.ashp.org/membership-center/member-information/become-a-member?loginreturnUrl=SSOCheckOnly>
r. Please provide your ASHP membership number in the form. You will not be
considered for reimbursement otherwise.

Preference will be given to our Clinical Skills Competition Winners. Every
P4 student wanting to attend Midyear, regardless of your involvement in
SSHP throughout pharmacy school, will be included in this request for
funding if you fill out the form and meet those requirements.

P3s/P2s:

P2s and Ps wanting to attend must be accepted for a poster presentation at
Midyear OR participating in the Clinical Skills Competition to be included
in this request. You must also be a current SSHP Local Member → membership
dues for this year can be paid here.
<https://fundraise.givesmart.com/form/Sxx6Yg?vid=ttt06> Every student
presenting, regardless of your involvement in SSHP throughout pharmacy
school so far, will be included in this request for funding if you fill out
the form and meet those requirements.

P1s/P2s/P3s Not Presenting But Wanting to Attend:

We will not be requesting reimbursement for you this year. We are working
on a new system for PSEB reimbursement requirements for you all going
forward after this year, so we encourage you to become involved in our
local SSHP chapter as this will be factored into reimbursement in next years

Please reach out to me at a_mintz1022 at email.campbell.edu if you have any
questions about this process.
