[Phar25] Health Professions Scholarship Program Interest Meeting/Panel

Good morning,
I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the second block of the year! I
am reaching out today with a great opportunity. On *November 2nd at 6:30 PM*,
I will be hosting a *virtual meeting* with four Air Force Pharmacists
(Captain Walker, Captain Remmel, Major Sackey, and Major Zentz) for a
question and answer session regarding HPSP and the various benefits of
pharmacy in the military. I have added a brief bio for each pharmacist
below! These pharmacists are super knowledgeable and have been a
huge aspect of my journey into this specific area of pharmacy. Please come
prepared to ask questions and be engaged! If you have any questions,
please let me know.

*Captain Walker* graduated from the University of Florida. She did not do
HPSP, but joined as soon as she graduated. She is currently positioned at
Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, and she has been working for
the Air Force for 4 years. She deployed in 2020 to Saudi Arabia, but
otherwise has been in TX.

*Major Zentz* graduated as an HPSP student from Lake Erie College of
Osteopathic Medicine School of Pharmacy and worked in the Air Force for 10
years. She deployed for 6 months, and she was stationed in Aviano Air Force
Base in Italy. She has recently transitioned out of the military but
finished her time at Vance Air Force Base in Enid, Oklahoma.

*Major Sackey* graduated from Hampton University. She worked at Walgreens
for two years prior to commissioning into the Air Force. She deployed to
Afghanistan in 2020, and she currently works at Randolph Air Force Base in
assignments and promotions.

*Captain Remmel *graduated as an HPSP student from the University of the
Pacific in California in 2021. He has been working in the Air Force at
Randolph Air Force Base for 14 months.
