Hello, everyone!

As the block is winding down it is time to start thinking about
volunteering with the *Campbell University Community Care Clinic* *(Mobile
Clinic)* which usually runs every Monday and Wednesdays during the spring
semester. The locations for these clinics are held at a site in Duplin
County and Harnett County, but the day and site is subject to change based
on site availability.

*Free Clinic Volunteer Policy:*
Signing up to volunteer with Mobile Clinic is a commitment to the care team
and to the patients. By signing up, the student agrees to fulfill
their volunteer shift. *Students who sign-up are committing to meet at the
CUSOM parking lot (Levine Hall) between 5:15 pm-6:00 pm depending on site
location*, where they will ride together on the CUSOM van to the
corresponding site with a *return time to campus around 11 pm*. *Standby
volunteers* are "on-call" and are asked to keep their schedule open until
3:00 pm on the day in which they have signed up for. If a student is no
longer able to volunteer,* the student *is responsible for contacting the
standby volunteer *and* contacting, myself, the Mobile Clinic Liaison to
inform of the shift switch.

*Reminder of REQUIRED PPD community service hours:*
All students (P1 - P3) must complete 4 hours of community service at either
the CU Free Clinic or Mobile Clinic. *Only four hours PER ACADEMIC YEAR is
needed for PPD community service credit.* The pharmacy co-directors, floor
directors, and the mobile clinic liaison can sign your PPD service hours
sheet. If you have already received credit for PPD community service this
semester through Mobile Clinic, *please wait until after December 1st to
sign up to allow other students who have not yet gotten their PPD hours the
opportunity to sign up first. *This will ensure that everyone will be able
to receive credit for the PPD requirement!

here to volunteer at Mobile Clinic.

Thank you for being willing to volunteer with Mobile Clinic. The clinic is
able to grow and serve more patients because of our efforts! Please reach
out to myself or Dr. Trotta if you have any questions or concerns.
