Hi everyone!

For those who want to volunteer to serve as 'patients' for the OTC Mock
OSCE on Monday, November 14th from 5pm-7pm, PPD course directors have
approved the 1 service credit hour for 1 hour of participation. Please note
the following per the Community Service (CS) requirements:

This service hour will fit in the category listed below (from the CS Policy)
in which only one of these types of CS can count for the semester; so if a
student is already planning to count another activity listed he/she cannot
count this one as well.

As a member of a professional organization, it is important to serve the
university and college; however, required CS for an organization should be
considered separate from the hours required for the PPD course. A goal of
the PPD service-learning experience is for the student to expand their
service outside of the college or university. To this end, the following
activities may count as ONE HOUR maximum and only one of these will count
towards the CS requirement per semester with or without an affiliation with
an organization (for example, you cannot run a 5K AND do a road-side
clean-up and have both count towards CS for the semester):

-5Ks, 10Ks, half-marathons, and marathons (raising money or paying a
registration fee)
-Road-side cleanup
-Bag/kit assembly for benefit of students
-Service to CU (focus groups, freshmen orientation move-in day, etc.)

If you have any questions, please contact jcmorrow0904 at email.campbell.edu.
Thanks!

Best,
