[Phar25] Fall 2022 Mobile Clinic Sign-Ups

Dear Everyone,

I hope you all are doing well and have enjoyed your summer break. With the
fall semester quickly approaching it is now time to start thinking about
volunteering with Mobile Clinic. This is a very rewarding experience and an
excellent opportunity to serve the community while also using the
pharmaceutical skills we are learning in class. Sign-up slots will be
available for Mondays (Harnett site) and Wednesdays (Duplin site) with
stand-by options available, meaning you can be contacted the day of clinic
up until 3:00 pm to fill in. *Students who sign-up are committing to meet
at the CUSOM parking lot (Levine Hall) between 5:15 pm-6:00 pm depending on
site location*, where they will ride together on the CUSOM van to the
corresponding site with a *return time to campus around 11 pm*.

With the new community service policy stating "*all students must complete
four (4) of the eight (8) required CS hours per year at either the
CU Community Care Clinic or one of the CU Mobile Clinics", *we are now only
allowing students to sign-up

 for one slot at a time, but you can sign up for multiple stand-by slots to
allow everyone the opportunity to complete their community service hours.
Students have until *August 15th, 2022* to sign-up for a slot and after
this day all slots will become available for students to sign-up for
multiple days.

For all the incoming *P1s* it is *strongly recommended* that you wait until
after September to sign-up for a time slot, to provide yourself with the
ability to learn pharmaceutical skills necessary for volunteering.
