Spanish Immersion Summer Internship

The CVS Spanish Immersion Summer Internship gives student pharmacists the opportunity to be fully immersed in the Spanish language, giving them an opportunity to enhance their Spanish Medical Terminology skills while serving a growing population. Spanish Immersion Interns are placed in CVS Pharmacy locations where the majority of the patients are Spanish speaking. Throughout the summer, interns enhance their Spanish language skills, dive deeper into the disease states that adversely affect Hispanic populations and participate in meaningful assignments and projects to truly learn what it takes to be a successful Spanish-speaking pharmacist.

  *   Location: 75 positions located across various cities in the United States
  *   Timeframe: 8 to 10 weeks in duration, with flexible start and end dates
  *   Hours per Week: 30+ hours per week
  *   Program Eligibility: Student pharmacists who are currently enrolled in a US College of Pharmacy as a P1 (Class of 2025) or a P2 (Class of 2024)
  *   Required Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish is not required to apply, however previous exposure to the Spanish language is preferred

Summer Retail Pharmacy Internship (ExperienceRx• 2.0)
ExperienceRx• 2.0 is a Paid Pharmacy Internship with scheduled activities during the summer and continuous shifts throughout the school year.  Our Summer I (2025 Grads) and Summer II (2024 Grads) programs are flexible enough to accommodate IPPE rotations, vacations, etc.  Handbooks make it easy to access the programming materials and schedule with their Preceptor.  It’s a great way to put your expertise to work in a Community Setting!

  *   Hands-On experience for interns to learn and grow within a Community Pharmacy​
  *   Develop intern’s skills including counseling and effective communication​
  *   Highlight potential career paths within CVS Health for pharmacists throughout the Enterprise​
  *   Prepare interns for a future with CVS Health and grow their network of connections
