<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">We have previously only considered candidates with prior experience, however, given how impressed we have been with recent PA students rotating with our service, we are also exploring the possibility of hiring
a new graduate candidate. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black"> “General Surgery, Trauma & Surgical Critical Care APPs provide comprehensive inpatient care to the surgical and injured patient. This team provides twenty-four-hour inpatient coverage at both WakeMed Raleigh and
WakeMed Cary campuses. APPs work in collaboration with attending physicians to provide high quality, compassionate care. Responsibilities include inpatient rounding and discharges, surgical and trauma consultations, trauma activation response, evaluation,
resuscitation and care coordination as well as OR assistance and bedside procedures including but not limited to laceration repair, I&D, wound vac application, chest tube insertion and removal, central line placement and arterial line placement. Day, night,
weekend and holiday coverage is rotated based upon coverage needs.” <o:p></o:p></span></p>
