<span style="color:black">This continuing medical education program is designed to support primary care physicians and other health care professionals in their role in addressing patients' mental health needs in clinical practice. The program will emphasize
practical, evidence-based strategies for recognizing, managing, and supporting individuals with a broad range of mental health conditions within the primary care setting.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="elementtoproof" style="mso-margin-top-alt:12.0pt;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:12.0pt;margin-left:0in">
<span style="color:black">Topics will include the integration of lifestyle medicine techniques to support mental health, best practices for managing benzodiazepine tapers, and approaches to addressing pediatric and adolescent depression and suicide. Additional
sessions will explore the complex relationship between mood disorders and chronic pain, strategies for managing treatment-resistant depression, and the principles of applying trauma-informed care.
