The NCAPA is excited to share two grant opportunities for your students:

  *   The NCAPA Endowment Student Grants: The NCAPA Endowment has Student Grants available for one student from each PA program in North Carolina. The applicant must be an NCAPA student member attending an NC PA program and be in their clinical rotations by September 2025. Applications and transcripts must be received by July 1, 2025, and more information can be found here: NCAPA Endowment Student Grant - NCAPA<https://ncapa.org/ncapa-endowment-student-grant/>.

  *   The NCAPA Trailblazer Award: The Trailblazer Scholarship is a $1,000 grant established by the NCAPA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee to support Black/African American PA students during their second year of PA school. The DE&I committee reviewed research and statistics around health disparities and gaps in representation and established this scholarship in an effort to address these needs. Applicants must be in their clinical year as of August 2025, must self-identify as Black/African American, and must be enrolled in an NC PA Program. The applications for these grants both close at the end of this month, so we would be very appreciative if you could communicate these opportunities with your students.
