[Pa25] Email & Data Access for Graduates

Good Morning,
Many of you have questions about availability of access to email, drives, and data once you graduate. IT sent out an email with the following information last week. Please review and plan accordingly if there is anything on your shared drives or private google drive that are tied to your school account. I wanted to get ahead of this so you could have this as soon as possible to make sure you don't lose anything.

Our current IT data policy for graduates:

  1.  Graduates will retain access to their Campbell email (Gmail).


  1.  Graduates will lose access to all Google Drive and Google Photos data that is connected to their Campbell account. Access will be removed and data deleted following graduation. We recommend students move their data prior to graduation to avoid any potential loss of data. If a graduate is the owner of a shared folder in Google, they should move the data or transfer ownership to a current student/non-graduate.


  1.  Graduates will lose local access to their Campbell Office365 account after graduation but will have online access to Office365 for one year after graduation. Online access includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and OneNote in the cloud (go to www.office365.com<http://www.office365.com> and sign in with your Campbell credentials). The documents you create online are stored in OneDrive, so you can access them from anywhere. We recommend students move their data prior to the ending of the 1-year grace period to avoid any potential loss of data. After the 1-Year grace period ends, you will lose ALL access to Office365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and OneNote.
