[Pa25] suture removal - # of days consensus

Hi all,

Gab was kind of enough to bring to my attention the fact that you all have been given a few different charts/pictures of # of days for suture removal by body part in the suturing workshops.  My apologies for not picking up on that.  While many are similar to each other on these charts/pictures, a few are different, so we would like you to use these numbers moving forward:

Scalp –  7-10 days
Face/neck – 5 days
Trunk – 7-10 days
Upper extremity –  10 days
Lower extremity –  10-14 days
Over a joint – 14 days
Hands/feet – 10-14 days

It’s safe to say that in clinical practice you will see some slight variation in these numbers/guidelines, but you definitely need to know that face is the shortest duration and over a joint is the longest duration 😊.
