[Pa24] PANCE practice exams

Hi all!

It was so nice to see you all and celebrate you at Long White Coat last Friday!  I have received several emails with PANCE practice results for review and since I’m still on sabbatical until 7/29, I wanted to send everyone a quick guide to interpreting your results:


  1.  When you look at your results, the red/yellow/green line across the top is a pretty solid indicator of performance if you were to take the PANCE that day.  The goal is to be 100% in the green BEFORE you take the PANCE.


  1.  Make sure you study the systems where your performance asterisk is to the left of the national mean vertical line.  These are your systems/task areas of weakness that you should focus on, but I always recommend reviewing ALL systems while studying.



  1.  Remember the big 4:  Cardio, Pulm, MSK, GI!  But don’t forget the smaller systems too!



  1.   1.  Take version #2 a week before the PANCE date to ensure you are 100% into the green.  Don’t hesitate to move your date out if you are not in the green….you can postpone your exam as long as it is >24 hours before your scheduled day/time.



  1.  If you have any specific questions before July 29th, please reach out to your advisor or another faculty member….after July 29th, I’m all yours again! 😊
