We hope this email finds you well.



We are writing to introduce a new 12-month Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) fellowship program within Central Ohio Primary Care's (COPC) network of offices throughout Central Ohio. This is a primary care fellowship that will have a heavy focus on the geriatric population. The program is a joint venture between COPC, agilon health and COPE Health Solutions, and will be administered by a multi-disciplinary team of highly qualified practitioners and coordinators from all three institutions.



The fellowship is open to Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants of varying levels of experience in practice and is intended to support them in their transition to autonomous patient care and/or transition to primary care from another specialty practice. Fellowship components include diverse didactics aimed at enhancing fellows' clinical competencies, confidence in their new provider role and understanding of value-based care. Fellows will have the opportunity to hone and advance their skills with the support of preceptors both in the primary care and specialty settings, as well as through instruction with expert clinical lecturers.



COPC's first cohort, Cohort 001, for the fellowship program is slotted to matriculate in May 2023, with an application window of December 19-30th, 2022. Subsequent cohorts will begin in September, with Cohort 002 set to matriculate in September 2023. Further details on the application timeline for Cohort 002 will be forthcoming.



The COPE Health Solutions and COPC fellowship team will be hosting informational webinars for interested APPs on the below dates. All individuals wishing to attend should register via the link listed next to the webinar date they plan on attending.
