<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">The North Carolina State Bar, the regulatory agency for North Carolina lawyers, is accepting applications for two paid summer internships starting June 5, 2023, and ending July 28, 2023.
Interns will participate in a variety of tasks, including investigating and litigating claims of professional misconduct, observing disciplinary hearings, and researching and reporting on developing issues before the State Bar and the legal profession. Interns
will also attend the State Bar’s quarterly meeting in Asheville, during which they will have the opportunity to network with and observe the State Bar Council – a group of elected lawyer representatives from across the state – as the Council carries out its
regulatory function for the profession. The State Bar will assist with obtaining academic credit for interested interns.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
