First, for rising 2Ls and 3Ls, we have four paid internships in the following offices: Charlotte, Fayetteville (rising 3L only), Gastonia, and High Country (Boone). Interested students should send me a cover letter (listing the office(s) for which they would like to be considered), resume and contact information for 3 references. We’d need to get these filled ASAP.



Second, for graduating 3Ls, we have 2 postgraduate fellowship positions open—Clifton Everett Fellowships—one is placed in Ahoskie (rural eastern NC) and the other with out Farmworker Unit (Raleigh) (https://www.farmworkerlanc.org/). The Farmworker position requires that applicants speak fluent Spanish, have a valid drivers license, and understand that many of the visits to worker camps throughout the state take place during evenings and weekends. The positions begin in September and require bar passage. Interested applicants should email me their cover letter (listing the position they are interested in), resume, contact information of 3 references, and a writing sample (10 pages or less).
