Looking Ahead
*Monday, April 7, 2025 | 1L Professional Identity Lecture Series
The final session in our 1L Professional Identity Lecture Series will take place on Monday, April 7 at 5:00 pm in Room 105. Dean Leonard will present on "Professional Identity in a Global and Multicultural Society." The Dean will reflect on lessons learned, both professionally and interpersonally, from working throughout the world for decades, including over twenty years of service as a consultant to the U.S. Department of State working with judiciaries in many developing countries. His work has taken him abroad more than eighty times, most frequently to Ghana, Zambia, Tanzania, Namibia, Nigeria, Kenya, Romania, Scotland and England.
Reminder: Attendance is required (Flex students too). We will keep attendance. If you are unable to attend for any reason, you must attend an on-campus group viewing of the recorded lecture and submit an individual reflection paper on the content discussed. For the sake of clarity, if you attend the live session, a reflection paper is not required. The Professional Identity Lecture Series is part of your legal education's compliance with ABA Standards 303(b)(3) and 303(c), and so you must attend this session to graduate.

Christian Legal Society Prayer Request Form: Christian Legal Society Prayer Request Form<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfntHSoSa5b-U3BtWKlwB4V-uM_2tiTXUB35nOD92EeS7IqQA/viewform?pli=1>
This is a weekly prayer request form provided by the Campbell Law student chapter of the Christian Legal Society.  The purpose of this form is to provide Campbell Law students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to request prayer for the needs that they may have, whether those needs be physical or spiritual and on their own behalf or on behalf of another. Every week, the officers of the Campbell Law Christian Legal Society will read all prayer requests and gather together to lift those supplications to the Lord in prayer. Please know that all prayer requests will be held in the strictest confidence unless you tell us otherwise. We pray that the Lord Jesus Christ will grant you grace for every need.
"[D]o not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 (ESV).
