We are delighted to welcome to you to the Career and Professional Development Center and look forward to meeting you this Thursday at 3:00pm! For now, we want to introduce you to our weekly newsletter, the Career Advisor, which will contain everything you need to know to keep up with all things Career and Professional Development. In the Dr. Seuss Classic, we are taken on a journey filled with challenges, detours and discovery. There are highs and lows and twists and turns, but wherever we are on the journey, we are reminded that we will indeed, eventually succeed (98 and 3/4 percent guaranteed!)

Your career and professional development journey will also be filled with growth, discovery and opportunity, and it begins NOW. In our Oh the Places You'll Go Professional Development Series we have carefully designed a calendar of events to prepare you for what is to come. There will be more information in the coming weeks, but for now, mark your calendars and make plans to attend all of these important 1L events!

why use the career center?

"The Career Center here at Campbell has helped me from start to finish - from editing my cover letters and resume to finding various employment positions that are a great fit. As a fall 1L, the best way to use the Career Center is to ask for revisions on your resume and cover letters. Your legal resume may be a little different than the one you used for law school applications! Director Underwood and Dean Giancola helped me recognize my strengths and highlight them so I could show employers all that I have to offer as a future attorney. Even if you are completely unsure as to what kind of law you are interested in practicing, the Career Center is the best place to start. Talking about my experiences and passions with them helped me understand what career options would be the best fit for me and how I could achieve my goals. I am confident you will have the same experience!"
