Dean Leonard, Faculty and Richard: I am grateful that the Family Law Litigation Clinic has been so successful in its inaugural year, in large part to the hard work of Richard and the Clinic’s students. The Clinic and its accomplishments have achieved - and will continue to achieve -  the personal goal that led me to want to assist in establishing the Clinic - to give back to a profession I love and more importantly to the community that so deeply needs competent and ethical family law services. I am honored and humbled to be a part of this and the Campbell Law School community.

I hope everyone read and enjoyed Richard Waugaman’s report about the Gailor Family Law Clinic.  I have been blown away by all that he, Mary and his students have accomplished during their first year of operation.  We should all be incredibly proud of our colleague and friend.  We have clients call the Blanchard clinic on a weekly basis seeking assistance with family law cases, and Richard is always willing to speak with them, advise and help.  I have no idea how he accomplishes so much – representing 105 family law clients in extended representation during year one is just extraordinary.  In addition to running a terrific clinic, Richard has been deeply engaged in our school – attending committee meetings, lectures and award ceremonies for our students.

I was lucky enough to be on the interview committee that helped select Richard.  I have reflected many times this year on how blessed we are that he chose Campbell to share his gifts!  Thank you for all that you are doing for our students, Richard.
