Know a Campbell Law Student that deserves some recognition? Nominate them for the SBA Student Spotlight! Simply tell us the nominee's name and why they deserve the spotlight for a day. Accomplishments do not have to be academic or law school related. Events & Activities
Last Spring the faculty agreed to conduct a review of diversity, equity, and inclusion at the law school. The school has retained Russell McClain to help with this work. Mr. McClain is a law school professor and Associate Dean at the University of Maryland Carey Law School. His scholarly and professional work focus on the effect environments have on learning and engagement. This intra-school competition will be held on Friday Feb. 25 (5:30-6:30; and 7:30-8:30) and our semi-final/final rounds held on Saturday Feb. 26 (11:00-12:00; and 12:30-1:30). During the competition, you will have the opportunity to partner with another Campbell Law teammate to negotiate a pre-determined set of goals in a mock round of negotiations. Baylor Law School’s Academy of the Advocate Study Abroad Program
On Friday, February 25th, Campbell Law will be welcoming Professor Jeremy Counseller from Baylor Law School as he discusses Baylor Law School’s Academy of the Advocate study abroad program being held this summer from July 24th to August 7th in St. Andrews, Scotland. The Academy is a unique program that joins together law students from across the country seeking to excel as trial or appellate advocates. Professor Counseller will be offering his presentation about the Academy during the lunch hour and again later in the afternoon. Free lunch will be provided during the lunch presentation!
