Accomplishments do not have to be academic or law school related. Join us to hear Dr. Bill Rand of the Poole School for Management at NC State University give an introductory-level talk on complexity theory.  Understanding complexity theory is significant for understanding much of contemporary social thought. It is influential for economists, sociologists, anthropologists, but also political theory and jurisprudence.

There will also be a standing Prayer Box in the Commons starting Monday, October 25th. Drop in a prayer/worry/concern that's on your heart and we will pray over them each week in Bible study.

Wills and Advanced Directive Clinic Training
The Wills and Advanced Directive Pro Bono Group is partnering with Legal Aid of North Carolina to host a one-day clinic. This clinic will be held on Saturdy, Oct 30th. This clinic will serve roughly 5 clients from the local community. The training is held Friday, Oct. 29th in the afternoon. Saturday morning, student volunteers and attorneys from Legal Aid will meet with the clients to help draft wills. Please contact Brandon Bower or Miller Moreau if you would like to be involved or learn more about this event!

Cambridge Program Information Session

Are you interested in gaining global experience and studying international law at one of the world's finest universities?  Might you be eager to travel and explore in the United Kingdom and Europe after spending so much time at home during the pandemic?  Are you curious about EU law, UK law, or human rights?  Have you ever wanted to visit and observe the Royal Courts of Justice or Parliament while they are in session?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, please join Professors Lukasik, Osborn, and Fields for a Cambridge Program information session on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at noon in the Dean's Conference Room on the 4th Floor!  We're looking forward to sharing information with you about the incredible and enriching opportunities available to you through our Cambridge study-abroad program and the Nottingham LLM!
