[Lawjudicialclerkship] Several opportunities - for rising 2Ls, 3Ls and new grads

Good morning Judicial Clerkship Listserv,

We hope summer is off to a great start!

First, two excellent clerkship opportunities - one for this fall and one for next - and people available to talk with you about the positions:


  *   If you just graduated and are interested in a clerkship with a Circuit Court judge in South Carolina, we have a former student who is wrapping up a clerkship in August 2024 and that spot will open up. If you are interested in moving to SC and want more information about this position, please email me.


  *   If you are a rising 3L interested in a post grad term law clerk position with a federal court, Judge Callaway's chambers in the eastern district will have a posting on OSCAR in the next few days. If you want to learn more about clerking in bankruptcy court or about Judge Callaway, please let me know and I will connect you with Ciara Rogers, Director of the Stubbs Bankruptcy Clinic for the law school. Finally, for students who want to build both their skills and their resume to explore the possibility of a post grad federal clerkship, Magistrate Judge Meyers of the EDNC is looking for a fall extern. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of judicial intern and externship opportunities as part of your career plan for post graduate clerkships, so be sure and check this one out if you were considering an externship and thought you had missed your chance for fall.
