Good afternoon,

We hope everyone is staying warm and having a good week. With recruiting season underway and interviews coming up for OCIs, NCLIP and MIP, as well as individual job posting opportunities, we want to remind you about the Interviewing Skills Workshop tomorrow at noon in room105, featuring Ward & Smith's Director of Attorney Talent and 2 of our fabulous 3Ls who will demonstrate mock interview do's and don'ts. Interviewing is a key job search skill you will use throughout your career, and we encourage everyone to attend. Interview programs like OCIs and NCLIP are one way to get a job. Jobs postings on Symplicity, Indeed, etc are another. But most students will get their jobs through some form of self-directed job search. The Career Center and Peer Mentors have partnered for 2 upcoming programs to equip you with information and tools to effectively conduct yours. The first is student led and the second features a CUSOL alumni and accomplished law firm owner who will share her perspective and advice. We encourage you to mark your calendars and take advantage of all these resources, remembering that the jobs search can be a marathon,  requiring a multi-faceted approach.
