The application period for Spring OCI Session 1 is now open. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, January 14 at 12:00 p.m. (noon). Please review the details below carefully.

On-Campus Interviews & Resume Collect Program

2026 Spring OCI – Session 1

Key Dates

  *   Application window: January 9 – January 14 (You can start applying on Friday at 12:00 p.m. and the application deadline is Wednesday at 12:00 p.m.)
  *   Interview Selections Released: By January 21
  *   Interview Scheduling Deadline: January 23 at 12:00 p.m.
  *   Interviews: February 2 – 6

If selected for an interview, you will receive an email from Symplicity with instructions on how to select your interview time.



Application Overview

  *   All OCI applications are submitted through Symplicity: https://law-campbell-csm.symplicity.com/students
  *   Your chances of receiving an interview do not depend on when you submit your application during the application window
  *   You may submit applications at any point during the application window; however, do not wait until the last minute to submit, as Symplicity may take time to process submissions.
  *   Applications not submitted by the deadline will not be accepted.



Application Materials

Submit only the documents requested by each employer. These may include:

  *   Resume
  *   Cover letter
  *   Transcript
  *   Writing sample
  *   Reference list



If you submit the incorrect document to an employer, you must delete your application materials and re-apply prior to the close of the application window.

Tip: Apply as broadly as possible across location, practice area, and practice setting to increase your chances of being selected for an interview.

Please note: Although many large law firms are recruiting this year through direct applications on their websites and/or Flo Recruit rather than OCI, we encourage students interested in Big Law to apply through OCI even if they have already applied directly on the firm’s website and/or Flo Recruit (for example, Nelson Mullins).

  *   Visit the Law Careers page in Blackboard and review the folder titled How to Apply for Internships & Externships for short “How-To” videos, including instructions on using Symplicity.
  *   Please also review the attached Step-by-Step Application Instructions for additional guidance.



Important OCI Policy Reminders

Career Center staff will be spot-checking application materials submitted during OCI and Resume Collect programs. Attention to detail is critical.

  *   If we notice materials that are incomplete, contain errors, are incorrectly formatted, or otherwise do not appear polished and professional, we will withdraw those materials and the application will not be submitted to employers.
  *   If your materials are withdrawn, you will be notified. If time allows, you may correct the issues and resubmit.
  *   Please review the attached OCI Policies document for more information.
