[Law28] IMPORTANT CAREER CENTER INFORMATION for THIS WEEK

We hope you had a restful weekend and enjoyed the beautiful weather.


Below is a quick update on some important Career Center information to be on the lookout for this week.


First, Exploring the Legal Landscape, the second installment of the Prepare to Launch 1L Professional Development Series will take place TOMORROW at noon in room 105. Click HERE<https://cuweb.wufoo.com/forms/p1nz4oea146g4eu/> by noon today if you would like lunch.

Second, you will receive 2 important emails from Symplicity this week:

The first will be a WELCOME EMAIL with instructions on setting up your Symplicity account, so be on the lookout. As you know, Symplicity is the recruiting platform used by the law school and it is where the job bank is located. You will gain access to the job bank later this semester and when your approved legal resume has been uploaded to Symplicity. If you have any questions about setting up your Symplicity account after you receive the welcome email, reach out to Recruiting Coordinator Martin Jones at mjones at campbell.edu.

The second is a SCHEDULING EMAIL that will include your assigned day and time for your Initial Counseling and Resume Review Meeting and details about the meeting. Those meetings will be 30 minutes long and held in our Career Suite (across from the security desk in the main lobby). Meetings will begin next week on September 15 and conclude by October 31. The initial counseling sessions with be assigned with Dean Underwood, Director Roede, Director Alexander, or Director Johnson, who will be joining us soon. We are very excited to welcome her to the Career Center team! Stay tuned for information introducing you to Director Johnson and the valuable experience she brings.
