Good afternoon and happy first week of class!

Dear 1Ls, Welcome to Campbell Law!

We are so glad that you are joining us. We have been praying for you and we cannot wait to meet each and every one of you. We know this season of life seems scary and stress filled but God has set you on this path and He has prepared you for such a moment as this!

We would like to provide some words of encouragement for the new school year for all the students starting back (or just starting) today. As we all know, it is easy to get busy during this time, caught up in the hustle and bustle of work, fixated on our performance and our grades but we ask you to remember Jesus. He desires your heart, your faith and your time, however that may look. He asks for you to believe in Him, and to rest your burdens at His feet. So, we encourage you to look to Him this semester no matter what and be reminded of the joy and peace He wants to provide to each of us.

Philippians 4:6–7 (NIV)
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

We hope to see you all at our Bible study kickoff this Friday 8/22 in room 308 at 12:00 pm.
