<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-bookmark:_Hlk131486335"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Since 1989, the Wake County Bar Association Foundation has awarded a Memorial Fund Scholarship to qualified students who have connections to Wake County and are attending
law school in North Carolina. Last year, two deserving students each received a scholarship in the amount of $4,000. The Wake County Bar Association’s Endowment Award Committee is looking to our law school for applicants. The applications are open to any
student who would like to apply for the 2025 Memorial Fund Scholarship.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-bookmark:_Hlk131486335"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"> <o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-bookmark:_Hlk131486335"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">To qualify for the scholarship, the law student must have a connection to Wake County (and no, the WCBAF provides no additional information regarding what constitutes
“a connection to Wake County”). Rising second- and third-year law students will be considered. Applications should include detailed information concerning grades, accomplishments and financial need as the Endowment Committee will look at these important
attributes, among others, when selecting the recipients. The scholarship recipients will be recognized at the July luncheon meeting of the Wake County Bar Association.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
